So What Is BJJ?

If you’ve ever watched a fight in the UFC, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is basically that stuff they’re doing on the ground. Pretty much every UFC champ is BJJ black belt which goes to show you how important and effective BJJ is.

By definition Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique.

Who Is This Seminar For?

This seminar is open to EVERYONE. You do NOT have to be a member of UFG or the UFG Boxing Club.

And by everyone I mean men, women, and children of all ages and levels.

What do I wear? A t-shirt and shorts that you don’t mind getting stretched.

Do I have to join UFG after the seminar? Not at all. It is completely up to you if you want to to join or not.

What if I’m not really in shape? This seminar will be primarily instruction with very light drilling to practice the techniques. It’s completely up to you if you decide to roll at the end of the seminar.

If I decide to join what time are BJJ classes during the week? Every Tues/Thur night from 7:00p-8:15p.
