The Secret Ingredient To REAL Fat-Loss!

It seems to me when you ask people what’s the best way to lose fat you typically get one of two answers. You either hear them say through lots of cardio or through strict dieting. And you’re probably thinking that they’re right. Well I’m not going to say that they’re completely wrong but a major piece of the puzzle is missing. The most IMPORTANT piece! And that piece is strength training.

I get people joining the gym all time saying that they want to just start with cardio for the first couple of months and then they’ll add strength training once they have lost some weight. Here’s the problem. Dieting and aerobic exercise is great but withouth strength training you’re going to be burning fat AND muscle. Losing fat is great but losing muscle is very BAD. Muscle is what keeps your metabolism running smoothly. When you start to lose muscle your metabolism slows down. Not good! By adding strength training to your routine you will not only preserve muscle but will also be adding some. The more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism will be. Which translates to many more calories being burned throughout your day, even at rest. By increasing your lean body mass (LBM) you will be turning your body into a calorie burning machine!

The KEY to permanent fat-loss is a strong metabolism, and the key to a strong metabolism is increasing your muscle mass. Don’t be afraid of the term ‘muscle-mass’. I don’t at all mean you have to look like a bodybuilder. All I’m saying is incorporating an easy to use system like our Xpress Circuit for maximum fat-loss results. While dieting and performing cardio you want to at the very least maintain your current LBM and even preferably add some. Diet, cardio, and strength training IS the recipe for burning fat – AND KEEPING IT OFF!
